Raytheon Tests Smart Weapon For Unmanned Vehicles

Raytheon says it has successfully flight-tested a new precision weapon for use on unmanned aerial systems.
The Small Tactical Munition is 2 ft long and weighs 13 lbs. This makes it the smallest bomb in the Raytheon family of weapons, said company officials.
The weapon features a dual-mode, semiactive laser seeker and GPS-inertial navigation system, allowing it to engage both fixed and moving targets in all-weather conditions, said Raytheon.
