Ramjet Propulsion System Successfully Tested With U.S.

A joint U.S-Norway team has successfully demonstrated a solid-fuel ramjet (SFRJ) propulsion system, reports the Dept. of Defense.
The High-speed Offensive Ramjet for Extended Range (THOR-ER) program team successfully launched a SFRJ flight vehicle during trials in August at the Andoya Space Flight Center in northern Norway.
