Raids Net 30 Drug Cartel Members In Tamaulipas

Mexican marines have captured 30 members of the Gulf drug cartel during two days of raids in Tamaulipas state, CNN reports.
At least one marine and eight cartel members were killed in the action, said a navy spokesman on Wednesday.
Naval and national intelligence agencies provided the information for the operations, said the spokesman.
Authorities said they seized 43 assault rifles, 10 handguns, two rocket launchers, a rocket and 21 hand grenades.
