The French military is expected to receive its first Rafale fighter jet equipped with an active electronically scanned array (AESA) radar this summer, reports Defense News.
Thales, maker of the AESA-equipped radar, delivered the first series-produced RBE2 radar to Dassault Aviation in February.
The radar will be installed on Rafale C137 within months, said Thales officials.
