Radars, Other Naval Systems Ordered For New Frigates

The United Arab Emirates navy has awarded a contract to Finmeccanica to supply naval systems for the U.A.E.'s new stealth frigates being built by the company, reports the Italian defense firm.
Finmeccanica subsidiary Selex Sistemi Integrati will provide and integrate IPN-S command and control systems, NA-30S fire control systems, KRONOS three-dimensional radar systems and SIR-M secondary radar systems for two Falaj-2 class ships, with an option for another two vessels.
