The Israeli Elbit Systems company has decided to equip its Hermes unmanned aerial vehicle with the Selex Galileo Gabbiano radar, Defense News reports.
The T20 version of the Gabbiano will be mounted on the Hermes 450, while the Hermes 900 will feature the T200 variant, said officials from the Italian firm.
The Gabbiano radars will offer sea and terrestrial scanning, as well as synthetic aperture radar and inverse synthetic aperture radar imagery, said officials.
