North Korea has been preparing a massive military parade to mark a major political meeting this week, Agence France-Presse reports, citing South Korean intelligence sources.
The military display will reportedly involve about 10,000 soldiers, as well as tanks, artillery and missile launchers.
The troops have been deployed to Mirim air base near Pyongyang since July to practice for the demonstration, the government sources said.
