President Vladimir Putin has been meeting with his Chinese counterpart Hu Jintao in Beijing to discuss military cooperation and other topics, reports Interfax-AVN.
The government leaders agreed they would strengthen mutual efforts in the areas of military, law enforcement and security, Hu stated on Tuesday.
Moscow wants an "open and equal architecture of security and cooperation to be formed in this region based on the principles of international law," said Putin.
