Purchase Of Firefight, Sentinel Radars Under Consideration

The Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) has notified the U.S. Congress of a possible sale to Canada of 10 Firefinder or 10 Sentinel radars, as well as other equipment.

The potential $377 million sale also includes 10 Single Channel Ground and Airborne Radio System (SINCGARS) long-range radios; 10 Sentinel high mobility multipurpose wheeled vehicles (HMMWVs) and 10 AN/TPX 57 identification friend or foe (IFF) systems, DSCA officials said.
