India is moving ahead with a proposal to purchase US$4 billion worth of military aircraft from Boeing in the United States.
The Indian Cabinet on Monday approved the major procurement of strategic lift aircraft, reports the Times of India.
The Cabinet Committee on Security cleared the US$4.1 billion deal for 10 C-17 Globemaster III transports through the U.S. Foreign Military Sales program, said Indian defense officials.
