Puma UAV Chosen For Tactical Teams

The Danish military has selected the California-based AeroVironment company to supply its Puma AE small unmanned aircraft systems, the company reports.
The Danish Acquisition and Logistics Organization announced Tuesday that it had awarded the firm a US$9.6 million firm fixed-price order following a competition.
The 13-pound, battle-proven Puma AE is designed for use by small tactical teams in land-based and maritime operations, said a company release.
