The chief minister of Pakistan's southern Baluchistan province escaped an assassination attempt on Tuesday, Pakistan's Dawn reports.
A suicide bomber blew himself up in the provincial capital of Quetta near the motorcade of Nawab Aslam Raisani, a member of the ruling party, said security officials
One person was killed and several others were wounded. The minister was unhurt, said officials.
