Riot police in Tunisia used tear gas on Wednesday to disperse hundreds of stone-throwing protesters from the streets of the capital Tunis, Al Jazeera (Qatar) reports.
It is unclear how the clashes near government offices in Tunis began.
Police reportedly also used water cannons against the protesters, causing numerous injuries.
