Protests in Egypt again turned violent, with police and demonstrators clashing in the central part of the capital on Friday, the Voice of America News reports.
Thousands of the opposition bloc gathered in Cairo to call for the end of President Hosni Mubarak's 30-year rule.
Police used water cannons, tear gas and rubber bullets on the crowd, sources told CNN.
