Protesters again took to the streets of the capital Tunis on Friday and demanded that President Zine el-Abidine Ben Ali step down, the New York Times reports.
In a televised address late Thursday, the president promised not to seek re-election in 2014 when his term expires. He also agreed to many of the protesters' demands, including an end to censorship.
