Protector Drones To Carry Brimstone Missiles

The U.K. Ministry of Defense has awarded MBDA Systems a contract to integrate the Brimstone high-precision strike missile on the Royal Air Force's newest combat drones, reports the manufacturer.
The Brimstone will equip the Protector RG Mk 1 remotely piloted aircraft, enabling it to engage high-speed moving and maneuvering targets including fast boats, said a company release on Jan. 24.
