Prospect Raised Of Deploying Tactical Nukes

South Korean Defense Minister Kim Tae-young has indicated that Seoul may consider the redeployment of U.S. tactical nuclear weapons in South Korea, reports the Korea Herald.
The move would only be made after consultation with the United States, he said.
The deployment, should it occur, would be considered in the bilateral Extended Deterrence Policy Committee meeting next month that is considering North Korea's nuclear ambitions, officials said.
