The U.S. government is said to be talking with lawyers defending 10 suspected Russian spies about a speedy resolution to their cases, the New York Times reports, citing sources briefed on the discussions
The accused could be allowed plead guilty to fewer charges or charges carrying lesser penalties, said the sources.
There is a possibility that the suspects could be deported or allowed to return to Russia.
