Prosecutors Charge Member Of European Parliament With Spying For Russia

A Hungarian member of the European Parliament has been charged with spying on European Union institutions for Russia, say prosecutors in Budapest, as reported by Reuters.
Bela Kovacs, a member of the nationalist Jobbik party, is charged with a number of espionage-related crimes, including using forged documents, said prosecutors on Wednesday.
The announcement follows a three-year investigation into the party's financial reporting practices.
