Proposed Cyber Unit Empowered For Offensive Operations

The Danish military intelligence service has decided to create a cyberwarfare unit authorized to conduct offensive cyber operations, reports the Copenhagen Post.
The Defense Ministry has not yet specified what tasks the unit will be assigned. However, the unit is expected to support deployed forces and take on hostile forces before Danish networks can be harmed, according to the science weekly Ingenioren.
