Progress Seen In Navy's Advanced Airborne Sensor Program

The U.S. Navy has authorized Raytheon to proceed to the next phase of the Advanced Airborne Sensor (AAS) program, reports Aviation Week & Space Technology.

After the Milestone B decision, the project will take on development and production planning, towards an eventual critical design review, officials said.
