Israel has indicated that its offensive in the Gaza Strip could be in the "final act" as envoys are being dispatched to discuss a possible cease-fire, Reuters reports.
Hamas has offered a one-year, renewable truce based on the conditions that all Israeli forces withdraw within a week and that all the border crossings with Israel and Egypt be opened, Hamas officials said.
