Probe Made By International Court Over N. Korean Attacks

The chief prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague, Netherlands, says he has begun a preliminary investigation into whether recent North Korean attacks on South Korea constitute war crimes, reports United Press International.

North Korea fired artillery shells at a South Korean island last month, killing two marines and two civilians, and is widely seen as responsible for torpedoing a South Korean warship in March, killing 46 sailors.
