Private-Sector Competition Strains Air Force

The Ghanaian air force says it is losing many of its trained personnel to better opportunities in the private sector, reports the Daily Guide (Ghana).
The loss of personnel is attributed to poor working conditions and insufficient accommodations in the service, as well as attractive incentives offered by private firms, said Air Vice Marshal Michael Samson-Oje, the chief of the air staff.
