Prince Of Wales Carrier Facing Months Of Repairs After 2nd Flood

Flooding on the British Royal Navy's newest aircraft carrier is expected to keep the ship out of action for months, reports the Sun (U.K.).

The Oct. 16 flood was caused by a burst fire main while HMS Prince of Wales was docked in Portsmouth, reported the War Zone website.

The flooding resulted in thousands of gallons of water submerging parts of the engine room and electrical cabinets for more than 24 hours.

Miles of cabling are undergoing assessment after the incident and repairs...
