Prime Minister Unharmed After Gun Attack On Motorcade In Tobruk

The prime minister of Libya's internationally recognized government has survived an attempt on his life in Tobruk, say Libyan officials cited by Deutsche Welle.

Abdullah al-Thinni's motorcade was attacked Tuesday as it left Parliament in Tobruk, reported CNN.

Five cars intercepted the convoy and a gunman in one of the vehicles opened fire on al-Thinni's car, said a government spokesman.

Al-Thinni was unharmed. A bodyguard was slightly injured after jumping out of the car...
