Prime Minister Oversees Purchase Of 4 Littoral Ships While In Beijing

Malaysia has signed a deal to purchase four littoral mission ships from China, reports Bloomberg News.

Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak oversaw the purchase on Tuesday during a state visit to Beijing. The first two vessels will be built in China and the next two in Malaysia, with more Malaysian-built ships dependent on government financing, said Razak.

No details on the cost were reported.
