The Syrian Ahrar al-Sham rebel group says that six other rebel factions have joined its ranks in northwestern Syria in response to attacks by Jabhat Fateh al-Sham terrorists, reports Reuters.
Jabhat Fateh al-Sham, previously known as the Nusra Front, had been an open affiliate of Al-Qaida. When the name changed last year, the U.S. called the rebranding a public-relations move.
