The makeup of the top officials in the Defense Dept. in Taiwan remains in flux.
Local media again this week said the defense minister has offered to resign, reports the Taipei Times.
At the beginning of the year, the Storm Media Group also said Yen Ming submitted his resignation, a story denied by the president's office.
President Ma Ying-jeou has urged the minister to remain in his post until at least the end of March, according to military sources.
