President Still Eyes Possible Buy Of Chinese Missile Defense System

President Tayyip Edrogan has indicated that Turkey will consider an improved offer from China for a long-range missile defense system, reports Reuters.
Ankara tentatively chose China Precision Machinery Import and Export Corp. for the US$3.4 billion deal in 2013. The deal was controversial in the West because of security concerns and the potential lack of compatibility of the system with NATO.
After the deal stalled, Turkey reopened negotiations with U.S. and European firms....
