President Barack Obama will work with Congress on a measure to authorize the use of force against the Islamic State terrorist group, reports the Voice of America News, citing White House officials.
Congressional leaders, after meeting with the president on Friday, said the administration was working on the authorization.
The administration previously said the airstrike campaign was legally based on authorization used by former President George W. Bush, reported Reuters.
