President Retires Top Military Leaders

President Rupiah Banda has replaced Zambia's top military leaders and their deputies, reports the Times of Zambia.
The mass retirement was intended to enable younger officers to move up, said Banda. A spokesman for the president said the move was routine, reported Voice of America News.
