President Repeats Call For F-16s

The president of Taiwan has again asked the United States for advanced F-16 fighters. The request followed the latest Pentagon report on the growing Chinese military, RTT News reports.
President Ma Ying-jeou urged a visiting U.S. congressional delegation to "cautiously consider selling F-16C/Ds to Taiwan as the balance of cross-Strait military power is tipping in China's favor."
