President Names New National Security Adviser

Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili has appointed a new national security adviser as part of a government shakeup, reports Interfax-AVN (Russia).

Giorgy Bokeria, who has been serving as the first deputy foreign minister, will replace Eka Tkeshelashvili as national security adviser and National Security Council secretary.

Tkeshelashvili was appointed as reintegration minister and acting deputy prime minister.
