President Hosts CENTCOM Chief; Agenda Includes 'Military-Technical' Cooperation

Tajik President Emomali Rahmon has been meeting with visiting Gen. Joseph Votel, the head of the U.S. Central Command, reports Interfax-AVN (Russia).
The talks on Tuesday in Dushanbe covered regional security and areas of potential cooperation between Tajikistan and the United States, according to a release from the Tajik president's office.
The sides also reportedly discussed how to improve the capabilities of Tajikistan's border guard on the frontier with Afghanistan.
