President Declares No More Arms Purchases Amid Pushback Over Russian Procurements

President Aleksandar Vucic has announced that Serbia will not buy any additional weapons platforms amid criticism about recent purchases from Russia, reports the Balkan Insight.

Vucic announced the decision on Tuesday, following consultations with Defense Minister Aleksandar Vulin and Chief of General Staff Gen. Milan Mojsilovic.

The military will pursue unspecified reforms that do not involve the acquisition of new systems, he said.
