The president, prime minister and entire Cabinet in Yemen have resigned after the takeover of the capital by Houthi rebels, reports Fox News.
President Abed Hadi resigned on Thursday after being pressured him to give a televised speech to calm the capital, said military officials.
Prime Minister Khaled Bahah and the Cabinet also quit the day after the Houthi rebels said the president would grant them a greater share of power, reported the Guardian (U.K.).
