The president of Somalia has renewed his amnesty offer to members of the Al-Shabaab militant group, reports the Voice of America News.
President Hassan Mohamud said on Wednesday that his government will ensure the safety of members who acknowledge their crimes, reject the militant group and take part in a reconciliation process.
