Officers likely to be sent to the front lines in Afghanistan are among those losing their jobs in the British army.
Two company commanders who are assigned to a battalion on 48 hours' notice to deploy to Afghanistan have been made redundant under personnel reductions ordered by the Ministry of Defense, reports London's Daily Telegraph.
