Precision Strike Takes Out Taliban Commander, Advisers

A NATO airstrike in the northern Afghan province of Kunduz has killed a Taliban commander and two of his advisers, Deutsche Presse-Agentur reports.
The three militants were driving northeast of Kunduz city on Monday when the precision strike destroyed their vehicle, according to a NATO statement.
The targeted commander was responsible for weapons distribution and directing attacks against coalition forces, according to a NATO statement.
