As Precaution Against Terrorism, Unrest, Borders To Be Closed During Climate Conference

The French Interior Ministry says it will institute border controls for a month around the time of a United Nations climate conference in late November, reports the Wall Street Journal.

The Paris Climate Conference is being held between Nov. 30 and Dec. 11 in Paris. About 40,000 people, including heads of state, are expected to visit the capital.

Controls will be imposed before and after the conference, said Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve on Friday.
