Malian soldiers have reportedly arrested a number of top political figures from the ousted government, reports the New York Times.
At least five people, including former Prime Minister Modibo Sidibe, were arrested in Bamako late Monday and early Tuesday, opposition members said.
Another leading member of the opposition, former Finance Minister Soumaila Cisse, was said to have been injured during his arrest.
