Polish air force personnel have succeeded a German air force contingent in NATO's air-policing mission over the Baltic States of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, reports the Lithuanian Ministry of Defense.
Four Polish MiG-29s replaced the contingent of German F-4 Phantoms during a ceremony last week at the Siauliai Air Base in Lithuania, where the mission is based.
