The Chinese government has decided to implement new set of policies to encourage more college graduates to join the military, reports Xinhua, China's state news agency.
Graduates will be given recruiting preferences, including tuition and loan exemptions, according to a statement from the Ministry of Education.
Those who enlist will also receive assistance in job-hunting or advancing their studies once they have completed their service.
