Six police officers were wounded Thursday morning by a land mine in the breakaway Georgian republic of Abkhazia, Russia's Interfax-AVN reports.
The vehicle hit the mine in the Gali district while returning from a patrol, security officials said.
Investigators said they found a long rope, battery and black mask at the scene. Police theorized that Georgians perpetrated the attack.
