Police Vehicle Hit By Explosive Device

Afghan insurgents detonated a cart bomb via remote control near a police vehicle in Kandahar province, killing two civilians and a policeman, CNN reports.

Eleven other people were wounded in the blast on Sunday in the Panjwai district, according to the provincial governor's office.
