Security forces have clashed with protesters in Egypt's capital for a second day, reports Voice of America News.
The demonstrators are demanding the ouster of Field Marshal Mohammed Hussein Tantawi, accusing him of deliberately slowing down cases against top former officials, including former President Hosni Mubarak.
At least 56 were injured, including 26 officers, Interior officials told CNN on Wednesday.
