Police Rescue Soccer Player From Militants

A kidnapped international soccer player in Nigeria has been rescued by police, reports This Day (Nigeria).
Christian Obodo was kidnapped by armed gunmen on Saturday in the oil city of Warri, said officials.
State police said officers rescued him during a Sunday raid in the town of Emevor in the Isoko area of Delta state.
Three alleged kidnappers, who made a ransom demand of US$187,500, were arrested, reported the Detroit Free Press.
