An Afghan police recruit killed two Spanish trainers and an Afghan translator on Wednesday before being shot dead, the New York Times reports.
The incident at a base in Badghis province prompted nearby villagers to protest outside the Spanish-run Provincial Reconstruction Team training center, Afghan police said.
