Palestinians hurling rocks clashed with Israeli police at the Temple Mount on Sunday, the Jerusalem Post reports.
The site is sacred to both Jews and Muslims.
Nine police officers were wounded and 21 Palestinians were arrested during the protests, police said. Palestinian medics reported that 17 Arabs were wounded.
